Policies to know
Photography is personal, and I value both your time and mine. These policies are here to set expectations, maintain respect, and make sure every session runs as smoothly as possible. Please take a moment to review before inquiring.
Booking + Retainers
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your shoot.
No session is considered booked without a signed contract and a paid 50% non-refundable retainer.
Image Delivery + Editing
Final galleries are delivered within 10–21 business days.
I do light retouching only, including color correction, cropping, and light skin smoothing. I do not do heavy editing, body modifications, or composite work.
RAW/unedited files are not included or available for delivery.
Location Permissions & Fees
If you request a specific location (such as a park, business, or venue), you are responsible for securing any necessary permissions, permits, or location fees prior to the session. Please confirm in advance that photography is allowed at your chosen location. I’m happy to help you choose a location from my list of trusted, approved spots if needed.
If we arrive and are asked to leave due to lack of permission, your session time and payment will not be extended or refunded.
Lateness
Clients have a 10-minute grace period. After that, the time lost will be deducted from your session.
If you are more than 20 minutes late, your session will be canceled or rescheduled at my discretion, with a $15 rescheduling fee.
Usage Rights
Clients receive a personal or commercial use license depending on the session type. Photos may not be edited, filtered, or altered once delivered.
I retain the right to use final images for portfolio, promotional, or editorial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Photo Release
By booking a session, you agree that I may use select images from your shoot for promotional and portfolio purposes — including but not limited to my website, social media, and marketing materials. If you are not comfortable with this, a private session fee may apply.
This helps me grow my business and showcase my work. I’ll never share anything unflattering or sensitive, and I always approach this with respect.
Rescheduling + Cancellations
You may reschedule once, provided you give at least 48 hours’ notice.
Same-day reschedules or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a $30 fee unless otherwise discussed.
No-shows WILL NOT be rescheduled.
Weather + Outdoor Sessions
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled for inclement weather. Light clouds or overcast days are not considered cause for cancellation.
If rescheduling is needed, we’ll coordinate a new date within 2 weeks of the original.
Children, Family, & Events
I do not photograph children or traditional family sessions at this time. My focus is on adults, creatives, and brands.
I will photograph small, intimate events on a case by case basis. Please be sure to fill out the contact form.
