FAQs

I know booking a brand shoot can bring up a lot of questions: what to wear, how to prep, what happens after. This page is here to answer all that (and then some), so you can feel confident, clear, and ready to show up.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance for the best availability, especially for weekend dates or golden hour sessions. This also gives me enough time to tailor your photosession.

Can I use the images however I want?

Portrait and couple sessions include personal use rights, you’re free to share your images online or print them.

Branding clients receive standard commercial use rights to use the photos on their website, social media, email marketing, and other self-owned platforms.

Third-party use (ex: press, publications, product packaging, collaborations, media outlets, or vendors) requires additional licensing or written permission. If you’re not sure what’s allowed, just ask.

When will I receive my photos?

Portrait, couple, and mini sessions are delivered within 10–14 business days. Branding sessions may take up to 21 business days, depending on scope and volume. Rush delivery is available for an added fee.

What’s your cancellation/reschedule policy?

Sessions require a 50% non-refundable deposit to book. One reschedule is allowed with a 48-hour notice. No-shows or late arrivals may forfeit your session.

How do I prepare for my branding shoot?

Once you book, you’ll receive a prep guide, brand questionnaire, and shot list planner to help you feel organized and confident going in.

Can I include my team or staff?

Absolutely. For team shots or multiple headshots, I recommend booking a 2-hour session or adding time for each person.

Do you shoot in studio or only outdoors?

I primarily shoot using natural light, but I’m open to studio sessions depending on your needs. Studio rentals are not included and must be arranged separately by the client unless otherwise discussed.

What if I want to shoot at a specific location?

If you choose a location that requires a fee or permit, you are responsible for securing that in advance. I’m happy to help recommend beautiful, public spots that are already approved for photography.

Will I get to choose my favorite images?

For full sessions, I deliver a curated gallery with all the best images already selected and edited. For minis or brand minis, you may be able to choose your favorites from a proofing gallery, depending on the offer.

Do you offer outfit or styling help?

Yes! Once you book, you’ll receive a prep guide with styling tips. You’re also welcome to send me outfit options for feedback, I love helping you feel confident and camera-ready.

What businesses do you work with?

I work with both personal brands and physical businesses — from content creators and freelancers to salons, boutiques, and service studios.

Do I need to bring props or products?

If you sell a product or use specific tools in your business, bring ‘em! I’ll also guide you on minimal props that help tell your story without clutter.
